Jonathan Seddon is Associate Professor of Information Systems and Management at Audencia Business School. His research, teaching, and consultancy are in the intersection of finance and technology, FINTECH.

With 25 years working in technology management, consultancy, and software development, he combines in depth knowledge of the financial services industry with academic research on digital transformation, with projects on comparative cross-country benchmarking of digital technology.

His knowledge of technology regulation from working with compliance systems used in investment banking and in High Frequency Trading environments is relevant for his current focus on the regulation of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology. His research, teaching, and consultancy uses statistical methods.

He holds a BSc in Manufacturing Engineering, and a PhD in Computer Science.
